Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
 

Surgical Services (Elective & Routine):  We provide a wide variety of surgical procedures in our state-of-the-art surgical suite. Surgeries are performed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  We also provide orthopedic consultations and surgeries.

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.
 

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations.
 

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Discounted Packages for New Puppies and Kittens

Our puppy and kitten packages include:

            3 office visits with a veterinarian

            3 distemper boosters (given 3 weeks apart)

            1 rabies vaccine (given at 16 weeks)

               1 intranasal bordatella vaccine (optional for dogs only)

            Fecal Flotation (check stool for intestinal parasites or worms) + medication if it tests positive

            $25 off microchip implantation

International Health Certificates:  If you are traveling with your pet internationally, you will need to research the necessary requirements. It can take several months and multiple visits to a veterinarian to complete this process.

At Union Veterinary Clinic, Drs. Gross, Kats, Hunt and Cooke are accredited veterinarians who can issue this type of travel certificate.  Please give yourself enough time to complete this process. More information is available at the USDA website:  http://www.aphis.usda.gov/regulations/vs/iregs/animals/

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. Please give 48 hours to have your request approved by our doctors and filled by our staff.  If you are ordering medications throught Pet Meds.com please be advised that Union Veterinary Clinic does not approve online requests.  We will mail you a written presription.

Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions, x-rays and oral surgery.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. 

Cat Boarding:  We provide cat boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Sunday.  Download our Boarding Form here.
